OK, so this entry in the blog is unabashadely self-serving. Not self-serving as in a cafeteria, but self-serving as in me taking VR images of a gallery with my prints. Hey, sometimes you just have to feed the old ego…. Speaking of feeding, not only can you feast your eyes on my large format prints, (will the bad puns ever stop…), but you can also feast on some great food at the same time.

Babycakes cafe is one of my favorite restaurants, and considering how many excellent restaurants there are in this area so close to the Culinary Institute of America, that’s saying quite a lot! Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as take-out and catering, Babycakes has something for everybody at any time of day.

Located across the street from historic Vassar College, Babycakes features a wide variety of made-from-scratch menu items and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Oh, and did I mention GREAT artwork on their walls? :o)
